St. Paul’s has been proclaiming the love of Jesus in Amityville for over 250 years. The church has a very strong commitment to its ministry of Christian education. Five classes for adults and seven for younger ages meet every Sunday. The pastor and three instructors teach a Biblical two-year Confirmation class (beginning no earlier than 8th grade) which emphasizes discipleship. The Vacation Bible School program regularly enlists well over 150 students with over 50 volunteers.
St. Paul’s is a missional church, understanding that it is partnering with God’s work as it partners with and contributes to a variety of ministries both locally and abroad.
St. Paul’s strives to be faithful to God and welcoming to all.
