From its inception in 1993, Happy Heart ELC has maintained the same focus in all of the programs offered: to provide a fun and secure environment where young children will eagerly come to develop a sense of independence and to learn.

The goal of the Happy Heart programs is to ultimately prepare your child for a positive kindergarten experience. All objectives are realized through classroom dynamics, planned activities and diverse types of learning experiences.
Each class meeting will provide your child with the opportunity to develop:
positive social interaction skills and classroom behavioral habits in a structured environment.
self-help skills.
artistic, musical and language arts creativity, including coloring, painting and cutting.
fine motor skills, especially hand-eye coordination.
gross motor skills.
academic skills, including: color, shape, number and letter recognition; name-writing; intro to science and social studies.
lunchtime confidence and independence, if applicable.
Special theme events and holiday parties are frequently held, as well as educational Field Trips, guest visitors and holiday programs. Parents are invited to participate in classroom activities on a monthly basis.
